Required for flashing and tuning access on 2018-2024 6.7L Ram Cummins trucks, this cable bypasses the factory Security Gateway Module (SGM) that blocks aftermarket tuning devices from communicating with the ECM.
What it's for:
  • Flashing tunes via EZ LYNK, EFI Live (including CSP5), Mini Maxx V2.
  • Restoring tuning access if your factory security module fails (compatible with MM3).
  • General SGM bypass for tasks like changing tire size settings, adding a remote start, connecting a Snap-on or other OBD-II scanner, or installing AMP steps.
How it works:
The cable replaces two wires inside the factory OBD-II connector and plugs into a connector near the parking brake area. Once installed, your OBD-II port keeps working normally. You can still scan codes and read data as usual.
Installation notes:
Meant for permanent installation; not designed to be removed and reused on another vehicle.
Wiring differs between the 2018 model year and 2019+ models.
