Go 5 inch if your 6.7 is running a larger turbo, higher fueling, and you are chasing flow at the top of the rev range. That is where the extra diameter does work. Stay with 4 inch if the truck is stock or lightly modified, you tow regularly, and you spend real hours in the cab. A 4 inch system flows plenty for a stock turbo, sounds less punishing on a long drive, and costs less. Sound is the other half of this decision, and it is separate from diameter. A muffler-less 5 inch system is loud in a way that gets old on a jobsite commute. If you want the diameter without living inside it, the systems with mufflers are worth looking at. Year groups split at 2011-2014 and 2017-2019 or 2022 depending on the kit, with 2015-2016 separate. F450 and F550 chassis trucks route differently than F250 and F350 pickups.
