Duramax DPF Delete Kits by Engine Code
These kits cover the two Duramax generations we stock DPF hardware for. Each states its engine code and year span up front.
- L5P 2017-2019, 5" downpipe-back without muffler, EGR delete, 3.5" downpipe: the full EGR, DPF, and DOC package for L5P trucks.
- L5P 2017-2019, downpipe-back 5" DPF delete and EGR delete: Silverado and Sierra 2500/3500HD application.
- L5P 2017-2026, 4" DPF delete pipe, 3.5" downpipe: the wider year coverage option in a 4" layout.
- LML 2015.5-2016, DPF/EGR/DEF full delete kit: handles all three systems on the late LML trucks.
- LML 2011-2015, DPF delete pipe and EGR delete kit: the earlier LML year group, which uses different parts than 2015.5 and up.
Engine Code Decides the Kit
The Duramax name spans two decades of very different engines. The LB7, LLY, and LBZ trucks built through 2007 have no DPF at all, so nothing on this page applies to them. The LMM introduced the filter in 2007.5. The LML ran 2011 through 2016 and splits internally, since 2011-2015 trucks and 2015.5-2016 trucks take different hardware. The L5P arrived in 2017 with another layout again, and includes a DOC alongside the DPF, which is why L5P kits list both. Within your engine code, pipe diameter and downpipe size are the next choices. Confirm your engine code and year before ordering, since a kit for a 2015 LML will not fit a 2016.5 truck.
Why Duramax Owners Buy From EngineGo
Guessing between LML and L5P parts is how trucks end up sitting while a return processes. Every listing here names the engine code, the year span, and the pipe sizes included. Orders ship from U.S. warehouses, most process the same or next business day excluding Sundays, and free shipping applies within the continental United States. Authorized returns are accepted within 45 calendar days on qualifying items. If you are not certain which engine code your Silverado or Sierra carries, send the year, model, and VIN details and support will confirm before you order.
Shop Duramax DPF Delete Kits
Find your engine code, then your year group, then choose your pipe layout. If your truck is an LB7, LLY, or LBZ, you do not need a DPF kit at all, and our CAT delete and exhaust options are the right place to look instead. Check the fitment notes on the listing, and send your truck details if anything about your setup is unusual.
