Suggested: Monitor EGTs on Levels 4 & 5

Levels 4 and 5 deliver the highest horsepower and torque in this package, which pushes exhaust gas temperatures (EGT) noticeably higher under load. If you're running these upper levels, especially while towing or driving at high RPM, it's essential to monitor EGTs closely to help protect your turbo and engine from heat-related stress over time.

Choose Your Idle Sound: Rumble or Whistle

Your truck's idle character is fully customizable through VGT turbo vane control. Select the deep, aggressive Rumble idle by commanding the turbo vanes open, or dial in the sharper Whistle idle by keeping them closed, a purely cosmetic audio preference that doesn't affect performance.

Low Boost Fueling: Efficiency vs. Low-End Power

Standard Low Boost Fueling is the go-to setting for daily commuting and everyday towing, prioritizing fuel economy and predictable power delivery. If you want stronger throttle response and more low-end torque right off idle, Increased Low Boost Fueling adds extra fuel injection at lower RPM and boost levels, ideal for drivers who want quicker acceleration off the line, with a modest tradeoff in fuel efficiency.

Shift Point Calibration: Fuel Economy vs. Throttle Response

Standard shift points are calibrated to maximize fuel economy for everyday driving. For drivers who tow frequently or want sharper throttle response, Raised Shift Points hold each gear longer before upshifting, improving acceleration feel and strengthening engine/exhaust braking on descents, which is especially valuable when towing on grades.
