Note
  • When installing, please prioritize safe work practices, including the proper use of jack stands or a lift, along with gloves, safety glasses, and other protective gear.
  • EngineGo high-performance exhaust modification products are designed for trucks with factory structures and original installation spaces. If your truck has been modified in any related area, additional adjustments may be necessary to ensure a proper fit and finish.
  • Consider using a lubricant, such as WD-40, to assist with the installation process.
  • Allow the truck’s exhaust system to cool down before starting to avoid burns.

Installation Process
  • Use an appropriate wrench to loosen the bolts and clamps on the emission control components. If rusted and difficult to remove, apply a lubricant to help loosen them. Remove sensors such as the oxygen sensor and temperature sensor (if present). Then Detach the emission control component.
  • EngineGo’s delete pipes are designed to be compatible with the factory exhaust system, so align the delete pipe with the original emission control component’s position and install it using bolts or clamps.
  • For added stability, a small tack weld on all clamp connections with a MIG welder is recommended. Ensure all connections are well-sealed, and check for exhaust leaks after starting the vehicle.
  • Removing DPF, CAT, and other emission control components typically requires a tuner to clear check engine lights or diagnostic trouble codes, and to adjust parameters such as the air-fuel ratio.
