The LBZ Exhaust System
This is one system rather than a range. It covers the whole 2001-2007 Duramax window because those trucks share exhaust routing, so the same part fits an LBZ, an LLY, or an LB7.
What to Expect on an LBZ
Your LBZ came with no DPF, which is why this page is short. There is no filter to remove and no regen cycle to escape, so the reason to change the exhaust is reduced restriction and a different sound. The 4" diameter suits these trucks well, since the LBZ makes good power stock and does not need the 5" runs that later high-output builds use. This system comes without a muffler, so expect it to be noticeably louder than factory. If you use the truck daily or spend long hours in it, that is worth thinking about before you order. Confirm your cab and bed configuration against the listing, because hanger placement follows truck layout even when the engine matches.
Other LBZ Work
If you are working through more than the exhaust, these cover the rest of what we stock for the platform:
Why LBZ Owners Order From EngineGo
On a truck this age, a listing that actually names your engine code is worth more than a page of options that might fit. This system states every engine code and year it covers. Orders ship from U.S. warehouses, most process the same or next business day excluding Sundays, and free shipping applies within the continental United States. Authorized returns are accepted within 45 calendar days on qualifying items, though installed exhaust is generally not returnable. Send your year, cab style, bed length, and current exhaust setup and we will confirm the fit before you order.
