What the Reroute Does on an LMM
The factory system vents blowby into the intake, and that oil vapor accumulates on the turbo inlet, through the charge piping, and across the intercooler. On an LMM with high mileage the volume increases as ring seal wears, and owners often notice it first as oil pooling in the intake boots. The reroute directs it outside that path. Installation is straightforward compared to exhaust or EGR work, and it is a common first modification on these trucks. Confirm your year falls in the 2007.5-2010 LMM window and check whether your truck already has intake piping changes from a previous owner, since that can affect routing clearance.
